  Good-bye Chicago !

Un grand merci au lycée Martin Luther king Prep College High School pour leur accueil si chaleureux, nous remercions tout particulièrement Mme Monique Byrd  pour avoir organisé l'accueil dans des familles du lycée ML King et nous remercions également Monsieur le Proviseur du lycée ML King ,M. Nerain pour les avoir reçus dans son établissement.
Sans les familles d'accueil  du lycée Martin Luther King de Chicago ce séjour n'aurait pas pu avoir lieu, nous leur témoignons donc  notre plus grande reconnaissance pour leur gentillesse, leur disponibilité et leur enthousiasme.
The students of Colbert will miss Chicago and will remember their stay in American families for a long time.

Monica our guide taking us back to the airport and telling us stories and legends of Chicago about base ball, hockey and basketball and also about famous gangsters and the Saint Valentine massacre.

The O'Hare airport was named after a WWII hero (O'Hare) who was a pilot but also the son of a famous lawyer who worked for Al Capone. (Thanks Monica !)








Bonjour Paris from Chicago !

Visit at City Hall and reception with Mayor Rahm Emanuel to give him the Mayor's letter of the 10th district of Paris, Mr Rémi Féraud, and a photo as a gift representing the Canal St-Martin.






                                       Special  visit of the Chicago City Hall  rooms for the Colbert students and the students of Martin Luther King Prep College High School.

Meeting with Reverend Jesse Jackson , Rainbow PUSH Coalition.
Jesse Jackson fought with Martin Luther King for economic justice in Chicago and for the civil rights in the 1960s. He created the Bread And Basket Movement in Chicago.
