The neighborhoods: the “latin quarter” and the “marais”

• High schools

In Paris we have many high schools. On pictures you can see the most famous and prestigious: “Charlemagne” and “Louis le Grand”. They are very selective because the pupils must have very good marks.

• The “BHV”

“BHV” means “Bazar de l’Hôtel de Ville”. It is a big building which includes many stores. The windows are decorated especially for Christmas. It is very beautiful and we can hear songs.

• “Hôtel de Ville”

The “Hôtel de Ville” is the Paris City Hall and it takes place in the 4^th district of Paris. For the winter, they provide an ice rink which has lot of success and a carousel for kids and adults too! It is very funny! However we must dress warmly!
